Randolph Savings Bank was honored and excited to present a check for $1,000 to GROW Associates, Inc., to support the organization’s efforts in the South Shore community.

GROW Associates was selected to receive the donation as part of the Randolph Savings Bank 1000 Likes program in which members of the community were invited to vote on which local organization would receive the donation once RSB achieved 1,000 Likes on Facebook. The Bank reached its goal on Monday, November 28 and was delighted to present its check to GROW on Tuesday, also known as #GivingTuesday, a day to encourage support to non-profit organizations in the midst of the holiday shopping season.

GROW Associates, Inc. is a non-profit 501 (c) organization dedicated to supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities. Founded as the Greater Randolph Occupational Workshop in 1973 GROW helps individuals with disabilities in the greater Brockton area to acquire job skills and prepare for the world of work.

Richard Olson, Randolph Savings Bank SVP Retail Banking and Corporate Marketing, presented the check to GROW Executive Director, Bill Wasserman. “The work that GROW does is so important and we are honored to support and be a part of their efforts,” stated Olson. “Every person is unique and their goals are too, but GROW truly seeks to assist each individual in all aspects of their life and values the contributions each person can make to the community. We wholeheartedly support their efforts towards equitable treatment for all.”
