Local Food Pantries Benefit from Customer Donations

May 25, 2014

Over 450 pieces of non-perishable food items were collected in a Food Drive that took place in each of Randolph Savings Bank’s five locations during the months of November and December. The collected food items, along with a check for $250 donated by a Randolph Savings Bank customer, were donated to local area food pantries.

“We believe in neighbors helping neighbors,” said Randolph Savings Bank Branch Manager Deborah Bearde. “The holidays can be a difficult time and as Randolph’s community bank, we want to support those in need. We’re pleased with the participation we saw in this food drive and that so much was collected for our area food banks.”

Donations were distributed to Friendly Food Pantry of Randolph, Food Pantry Foundation of Stoughton, and Holbrook Food Pantry.
